March 19, 2021, we lost our sweet kitty, Max. A year later, I find myself reflecting on his life.

I get caught in the tension of pushing in and pulling away from love for fear of the pain I know comes when all that's left are memories.

I could give Joaquin Phoenix a run for his money.
