Facing Failure Like a Champ

Updated: Aug 6, 2021

I do not like to fail.

I imagine I’m not alone in that.

I got the push to start this blog, in part, because my friend Andrew said, “you need to do and fail and do and do and fail and do and fail some more.”

So here I am, poised and ready to fail.

So … if I am expecting to fail … and I do fail … does that mean I succeeded?

Ditto! And I'll be here to celebrate and to wipe the tears (the happy and sad ones)! Let's take risks ... ready, set, GO!

I like Henry Ford’s quote on failure. Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently. Thank God for first, second, third and 100 opportunities to begin again. like moving off medium. an opportunity to begin again.

And thank God for friends to speak the truth and remind us when we lose our way. I definitely agree with Ford's sentiment ... but my default doesn't often go "there" first. Still growing. Still learning. And thankful for all the opportunities to begin again.

Failing is succeeding. You have to fail to move forward. This blog is your inner voice saying "yes."🤗

Amen! I'll receive that! I'm constantly amazed at how my brain rearranges things to not feel pain or risk. Failing is succeeding ... then maybe it will feel good to fail! Ha! We live, we learn, we grow. There's no way around it! Thankfully we don't have to do it alone!
